Face the fear!

Care & Repair Charity Skydive

Saturday 28th April

Swansea Skydive

Care & Repair Patron Dilys Price OBE is 86 years old and holds the Guinness World Record as the oldest female skydiver.

Looking for a chance to blow away those cobwebs? This could be just the thing for you!  We are looking for 8 brave participants to take part in the Care & Repair  Charity Skydive at Swansea Skydive 12pm on Saturday 28th April.

Rebecca Goddard from Wales & West Utilities was one of those who took part last year. She says:

“It was the best experience ever, it’s hard to describe the feeling, it didn’t feel like I was free falling at 120mph, but as soon as the parachute opened the views of Swansea were outstanding. I’m so happy I finally did it and raised over £500 to support Care & Repair. They are an amazing charity, helping older people live an independent life, supporting them with all aspects around the home so they are able to feel comfortable and know there is always someone out there  to help and they are not alone.”

All participants must raise a minimum of £350  for Care & Repair to help older people stay living independently in home that are warm and safe (this includes covering the  £240 cost of the Skydive). The closing date for registration is 12th March. For further information contact Care & Repair Cymru at 029 2010 7580 or email [email protected].
