Building Our Best Future: Care & Repair Conference 2022

For older people, the pandemic has caused fear, isolation, and a huge increase in the amount of time spent at home. For those living in poor housing, this has been a nightmare. The Care & Repair Conference 2022 will bring together like-minded people seeking to build the best future possible for older people who are in these challenging situations.

The conference, which will be entirely online, will see politicians and leaders in housing and older people’s care join with those who daily visit the homes of older people and who see the challenges first-hand. There will be a mix of plenaries and workshops, with lots of opportunities for delegates to participate, discuss and ask questions.

The problems are only increasing, as we are seeing with the rising energy prices, making fuel bills even more unmanageable for those in fuel poverty. Yet, we believe that together we can build a better and brighter future for older people.
