Fuel Poverty - A growing concern for older people in Wales

Care & Repair Cymru has recently undertaken research across the 22 Care & Repair Agencies in Wales to determine the effect rising fuel prices are having on their clients. The findings of this research is published in the report Fuel Poverty – A growing Concern for Older People in Wales?
The report found that all the Care & Repair clients interviewed were modifying their behaviours in order to save energy. Although clients appear to be managing through the fuel crisis this is largely due to income maximisation and the careful management of their income throughout the year.
